I have the Droid and depend heavily on Outlook tasks and their categories. (result of loving "Getting Things Done" by David Allen).

I just left my Palm OS for Droid, anyone know of options?
Thanks,
Allen

I too would really like to be able to sync tasks and notes.
Unfortunately, I haven't found an answer.
Maybe if we keep asking, someone will provide a method.

There's a PC program called Companion Link Syncronize. It will send all your Outlook data to google, then google will sync it with your phone. IT has worked well for me!

I use gSyncIt to sync my Outlook calendar, contacts, notes and tasks to my gmail account. I hear it's more reliable than that other app mentioned above but can't say for sure.

Android then takes care of the contacts and calendar automatically, notes get synced to google docs, then you just need a tasks app that can sync with google and you're set!

You may want to have a look at www.syncdroid.net for very comprehensive list of Outlook sync softwares or www.gassumo.com for SprinxCRM UniversalSync that synchronizes tasks with categories

I just tried this one VCOrganizer for Android. It sync Notes, Tasks, and Categories with Android Phone. It's cool. It costs little, with all the features I need.

Another update - there is a new version with Outlook 2010 support, much more integrated and better (see http://goo.gl/S6WJf and download).
