I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting really impatient waitig for updates to occur on droid phones. They are romised 'soon', then don't happen for months after the fact, as has been shown by 2.0, 2.1, and now froyo. I may not be picking up another droid when my contract calls for it, if this keeps up.

Its beyond being patient when one version of the phone gets an update, and others have to wait 1 to 2 months more.

I'd rather have a Droid X than another Droid phone with 2.2.

I have used the Moto Droid, Eris, Incredible, Ally, Droid X, Droid 2, Samsung Fascinate and will be going back to the Droid X. I feel that this phone is the most well rounded. Although the incredible is very nice as well, but I can't get past the poor signal strength. Anyways, looking forward to getting the Droid X back in my hands!
