Hi all,

coming from windows mobile the switch has been hard.
I have all kinds of contacts I don't need but was unable to get my contacts from my old phone.

Phone obviously is great and I need to learn more.

has anyone moved contacts form windows mobile to droid?

Well two things you can try. I am not 100% positive on either.
You can try and sync your old Windows Mobile contacts to gmail. (If you can still get the old phone online.)
Then with the droid you should be able to easily get your contacts from gmail on your new phone.

Or take your old phone to your phone company and have them transfer your contacts to your new phone.
Again not sure if they can. But if they can they usually will free of charge.

Thanks.

I spent an hour and a half at verizon, two different techs tried to transfer the numbers. Additionally 2 hours at home with verizon help, (a subjective term) on the phone.
Seems with the "old" wireless sync, all numbers were stored on a site they no longer maintain.

But alas, not being able to move one's contacts is just not the end of the world!!

Have you tried sending them by Bluetooth to the new device?
