More ringtone issues

I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here, but I searched the site and didn't find anything quite like what I'm experiencing. My ringtones which are set for various callers (they show up correctly in the "people" tab), are playing the wrong tones. Any suggestions? I've tried all I can think of.

It looks like this issue was introduced with the release on 2.1 on eris devices. Verizon claims they are working on a fix but until then I guess you can either try to back up to 2.0, or just tough it out until the patch arrives. They'll get it right eventually
