Error msg in long txts

hey all i have had my eris for a few months now and love love love it but when i send or recieve text messages over 1 page me and the other person both geta msg saying preceding msg modified, media object removed what is this? can i fix it?

mine does the same thing. even from verizon users. when i had the env touch, it wouldn't send an error for verizon users. i don't know why. i'm gonna write that question down for when i go see the tech's tomorrow. i'll get back to you with their answer.

i won't go to the tech's until i get a list of questions. so i have a couple and i've been wondering about that too. it's super annoying.

ok so i went and they said they have never heard of such a thing. they are amazing techs too, they can fix any problem super quickly. one of them there has the eris and has never experienced that. they said the update should be coming really soon, like any time and that will make the phone amazing. so it will probably be corrected after the update. i guess the update is sick. they said it's going to make the phone even better.

my friend told me within the next 20 days, the update will come out. i read some place that it has started to go out, but not everyone is getting it. i can't find any thing like that on verizon's site. and everyone will get the update at the same time, so that doesn't make sense.
