Phone not working again!

Ok so I got my Eris (was so excited about it!) and 3 days later when I was at my grandfathers it went nots. It said no service and I could not access just about anything. I could not call out or receieve calls. When I tryed to open my phone it says "Sorry! The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly"...I cant get or recieve text or email and when I go to settings and try to go into Wireless Controls like I was instructed to do it saws "Sorry The application (process.com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectely" and forces close.....They ended up having me manually reboot and I lots all my apps and text. Now it is happening again 2 weeks later. What the hell is wrong with this phone. And verizon is no help they told me to take it in for a new one or do another reboot. I am so not going to keep doing this.....Any body know of a RELIABLE PHONE!

probably a bad app when it has happened to me i delete the last couple apps i installed and that fixes it

I have lost track of how many times I have had to do a factory reset. I think today (Friday, Jan. 22) is the 5th time I've done this. I last did it yesterday and restored my apps from a backup I had taken using a backup app. I don't know if the Android process android.process.acore has a bug or defect or if it has to do with 1 of the apps I have downloaded and how it is interfacing with Android or other apps. I have a feeling this is going to continue to occur so I will try to only install a few apps that I use regularly to see if that has any impact on having to do a factory reset all the time. I bought this HTC Eris phone about 1 month ago and love it except for the issues I just described which are a real pain.

bring it in to Verizon and get a new one
