How do i save pictures that come in texts?

I don't know how to save pictures when they come in texts from other people.

add the savemms app. then when someone sends you a picture, click on the app and it will automatically find photos you have received in texts and you select the ones you want to save

You don't need to download an app to do this.
Just long press the specific message that the picture is in. Not on the picture itself, but on the text that the picture is in snd it brings up a menu that lets you save the picture.

Once you've saved the picture, where the heck does it go? I looked in my gallery and it isn't there. The option it gave me was to save it to my SD card.

Yes they are saved to your sd card. You can use the stock app albums to view them. Or get an app like astro that lets you view the folders and contents on your sd card.. or just sync it with your computer and view the folders. .. but you should be able to just use Albums to view them and do what you want with them.

Pics you save from mms go into the "Downloads" folder in the photo albums.
