I have around 45Mb left and have used APP2SD to move as much off as possible to the SD card. At the moment i'm having problems in installing new apps.
Using ES file explorer i noticed the directory /mnt/asec which contain's it seem's all the install APK files. These appear to be for all the app's ive installed and quite large, angry birds is 14MB for instance

the question is
1. Can i delete these
2. are these comparable to say a Window's installer, or mac DMG file, or are they needed in event of uninstall, or updates.
3.are they actually on Internal Storage, or are they symbolic Links in the case's where the app's are installed on the SD card.

Regards
