Optimal Settings For Droid X Video Playback

Hi All - trying to convert a raw DVD file (BD-R) into an mpeg4.

Tried multiple bitrate, framerate, and audio codecs, yet still having trouble locating a single settings profile that allows for fluid playback of mpeg4 files on the droid x. Almost all I've created thus far are still jittery...

Any body have HD vid on their phone that plays well? What codes are you using? What's the best settings you can use while also ballancing file size and playback quality?

Also noticed when copying and pasting from Windows Explorer that Windows 7 wants to convert the file into a .wma file? Weird, because I know the Droid X supports Mpeg4?

i think you can try the h.264 mp4, the h.264 has higher compression ratio.so the file is smaller. with resolution 854*480. video bitrate:1000, framerate:29.97, audio is using the aac.
above information is from a dvd tool. which has the Proprietary format of droid x, for your refenrence.
