I hope that in getting an HTC Desire HD that I will eventually get Gingerbread, but I wont be holding my breath. Having had a HTC Hero and lived through to update (1.5-2.1 what a disappointment) I am not too eager to go through that again.

"Bigger screen" ehh, the resolution is stil the same, so why would the size make any differance..
my theory- Desire&N1 will probobly not get the gingerbread update as sense ui 2.0 won't fit alone, so where would you get ther extra space from, SD card? not good for everyday is it? some smaller ota we will get but nothing major in my opinion..
