Android on a nokia n97 mini

hey, I have a friend how have a nokia n97 mini, and he's he is a bit annoyed,l because he have symbian :P

so want to know if he can get symbian on it, and if it's a ROM or just a normal version. and if it's 1.7 or 2.2?
and yes I'm a android noob

so pleas some help

well, from what I know, Nokia N97 Mini has got Symbian 9.4, are you trying to ask if he could get android insted of symbian on the N97?

if so, sorryb but it is not possible due to hardware, but you can still get an app that makes everything look as if it was running android, try going on to Mobile 9, go on to the S60V5 section and search android in Application section.

Are your refering to theming !panda?
If so your best bet is http>://www.tehkseven.net the symbian themers community there's a lot more choice there I guarantee it and they take requests for specific theme ideas.

nope its not a theme... \Its an app that you get just like any other game or app. Once you open the app, you see android 1.6 ui (but no widgets)you can move game icones onto homescreen etc just like 1.6.. used it for quite a bit but got board and moved to real android

by the way, there is a free veresion which expires in like 3 days, but where it used to say "Trial" when this dissapers you can still press that button (even when you cant see it) and you can have the app after it expires... For symbian 9.4 you can get Windows 7, XP and Android that lets you use a different ui. And the amazing SPB Shell...

zedge and mobile 9 leach of of tehkseven as that is were most of the themers are.I know as I have uploaded themes myself then found them on both zedge/mobile9 relabled but when adding the .sis its my work.
as for the "app" you are talking about an emulator cant say I ever bothered with them myself as they tend to be very clunky.

yeah, I didn't use them much, bit of SPB, but thats all.. Symbian is way to slow for any other add-on system or what ever you wonna call them..
