tried to get hero on my g1. so i went on youtube to find a video on how to do this. i came to a video that said to get the hero i have to root my phone. they had a link on their for a video on how to "root ur phone in one click" the website is
www.theunlockr.com. i messed up on one of the stages and now it only goes to the tmobile black screen . it goes to the recovery screen also. my recovery screen has the andriod in the backgroung and at the bottum it says " Build: CyangenMod v1.4 + JF "... i downloaded update-cm-4.1.11.1-signed.zip and put it on my formatted sd card. i wiped the data then press the button that said install any zip from sd. then it said
E:cant mount /dev/block/mmcblkop1 (or /dev/block/mmcblko)(I/o error)
E: cant mount sdcard.
after that i downloaded update-cm-4.2-signed put it on my card and went to the recovery screen. from there i clicked install any zip from sd. it said it was downloading and all that stuff and the downloadbar was in the background movig. it said the download completed. i then heled the home and back button to rest the phone. after that it just stayed on the tmobile g1 screen. its been on that screen for 20 min. i tried repeating that process but it didnt work
