Hey ppl
I am new to Android and recently i bought a G1 on ebay Unlocked .... but i don't know which version of Android is it running on and i would like to update it ,once it get it....... to Cupcake(1.5).And i don't know if rooting is done on it.So how do i find out these things?

describe me your problem again .. I have G1 and I did the sitings manualy ... do you have this problem for example ? ... is the device does not open till it check the google profile for example ?

go to settings then to about phone and it should list what you are running
