I have been expecting the update all day but still nuthin. it iz 11:21 Pm mayb at 12 or sumthin i will get it but still nuthin BTW i live in ny n.e1 else got their updates in the us???

Agh! I work at a T-Mobile corporate store in Corona, CA and the floor model G1 got the update a few days ago while my G1 hasn't!!

It's keeeling meeeee!!!

Is it because I have an area code out of NJ??

At 21:31 here in Louisville, Kentucky, my G1 just notified me I had a system update waiting to be installed.

I chose to "Install Later", but when I do, I'll let you guys know how it went.

**UPDATE**

It is now 22:30, and I installed the update. The start-up/loading screen is cooler, and I love the on screen keyboard! There are various other UI tweaks that you will notice.

The one new feature that I am very excited over is the mass delete in the Gmail App. I always had to long press the message, then select delete, for every single message. Now I can just check a little box, and then a pane appears at the bottom and you can either choose to Archive, Label, or Delete. LOVE IT!

The Updates are released by serial number..so if you're a person who just got your phone, you will prolly be the last person to recieve the update.

serial number? I got my G1 when it first came out, and have yet to receive the update. What's up with that? I also checked the system update under settings/about phone/system updates and nothing....... Please help with my update!!!! thanks!
