Hi,

I have a G1 developers version of the G1 phone (with the pretty patterns on the back). I am using 02 as a provider and all was well.

The internal memory of the phone was annoying me so i took it into my own hands to try to root it - event though im not really sure what that means - and try to set the SD card as application storage.

Anyway - this all went horribly wrong when i flashed the phone with an old image file that was locked to T-Mobile.

So- I took my phone to the local unlocking place in london, they have unlocked me and put on the RC8 image. The firmware is however now V1.0 and i am noticing big differences in the battery life of the phone, and a loss of some functions.

Is there anyway that i can get back to the old operating system that i was using - the developers version. And update the firmware to either 1.1 or 1.5? Also will this reset the service provider to T-Mobile?

When you answer please bear in mind that i am not a developer and am completely un-technical when it comes to this sort of thing.

Really i shouldnt have bothered trying to do a get the apps on the SD, but you have to admit that it is annoying.

Thanks in Advance

Ash

Not really sure what you messed up the first time, but glad to hear its back to 1.0

Full instructions and the 1.5 images for the ADP1 are here:
http://www.htc.com/www/support/android/adp.html

If you follow the recovery image instructions things should go well and you should be at 1.5 before you know it. 1.5 runs great on the ADP1 phone, i've been using it for a few days now.

Good luck!
