Hello!

2 weeks ago my Nexus S received the new firmaware (4.0.3).
It was working fine, when 2 days ago I recognised that around 90% of my contacts simply disappeared from phone!!!
I have 2 email accounts: gmail, and corporate (exchange), both of them are set to synchronise contacts as well, but nothing happens when I try to synchronise (contacts do not come back). I have whatsapp, too and it is also set to be fully snychronised, but I do not think if whatsapp made the mess.
Also interesting that the remaining contacts (10%) are mixed between
accounts, so I can not tell that the contacts erased belonged to 1 account.

I just want to ask if somebody already experienced such thing with ice cream sandwich.
Maybe it can be some virus?

thanks for everys feedback,
liptakand

Try deleting the accounts on your handset and adding them again. Then sync.

I had the same problem. So i rooted the phone then installed chocolate covered ice cream sandwich with sprinkles. Then i allowed it to partially melt. Then i refroze it and re-rooted the re-root and reinstalled the previous root. And it still did not work. So i bought a new phone and now everything is like it was before. It still does not work but it"s new!!!
