My Samsung Galaxy S (SCH-I500) is still at 2.1, so I was going to upgrade. I downloaded the Software Upgrade Tool and installed it on my computer. When I open the program, I only get the warning and an Exit button - I don't get the button to Continue. I tried unistalling the software, and reinstalling from another site, but I had the same issue.

I am running Windows Vista. Is that the problem? I thought Vista was okay. The only other thing I have access to in Windows XP, which I'm sure is NOT on the list of OS' that can be used.

Anyone have insights to share?

I used a computer at work (shh, don't tell anyone), which is running Windows 2010 and everything worked as it should. The update to 2.3.4 didn't take too long and the Galaxy is working perfectly.

Well try using window 7, this error is due to the reason as most of the applications and softwares are made for 64 bit operating not 32 bit ones.
