A software update is rolling out, like now, for the Motorola BACKFLIP. *It does not appear to be an update to Android 2.1, but it does have various enhancements that BACKFLIP users will probably appreciate.
- Improved text messaging
- Improved display
- Camera correction
- Bluetooth improvements
- Removes size restriction for ringtones
- Improved network connection
- Better performance of Android Market(tm) applications
- Improved stability
- Improved battery life
- Improved streaming audio and video playback.
Hopefully 2.1 is not far behind, but they don’t specifically address that.
