The latest report from comScore for March – May of 2010, shows that Android devices have been on the rise while other devices such as RIM and Apple have been falling. This report confirms earlier market reports, such as the one from
AdMob, which show the Android platform has been growing strong. According to the report, Android devices have risen 4%, while RIM fell almost a 1/2%, and Apple dropped a full 1%.
I can say though I am not surprised with all of the negative attention the iPhone 4 has with its hardware and software issues. I am looking forward to the next couple of months with the release of new devices such as the Droid X and more importantly the Samsung Captivate which is on AT&T’s network and in direct competition with the iPhone 4.
