The recently announced Samsung Moment Android phone has now been given an official release date of November 1st, and will be available for $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.

Previously known as the Samsung Intinct, the Samsung Moment features a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2 mega-pixel camera with auto focus, flash and video recording capabilities.

The Moment also includes Bluetooth, GPS, and MicroSD card support.

The Samsung Moment will be available from 1 November on the Sprint network for $179.99 after a $50 instant savings and a $100 mail-in-rebate (as part of a 2-year contract).

The Samsung Moment will join the Sprint HTC Hero as the first two Android phones to arrive on the US network.
