Apps download issues

i am having issues getting apps , i have had the g1 for a couple of days now and no apps .

it will connect with the market and show that it is starting download but it will never actually download the apps .

i am a rogers wireless user in Canada , my guess is that my location is an issue

Does this happen every time with every app?

it did for the longest time. i didn't change any settings and it magically started working. I think because i am on the EDGE system and the bandwidth sometimes sucks.

I'm on edge too. Every once and a while the app won't download and I'll have to cancel it and restart it.
