Is there any set pattern to when new applications are added to the market?

It seems whenever i check, there's a ton of new apps available, just wondered if anyone's seen any sort of update pattern?

Easiest way seems to be: goto 'all applications' and 'sort by date'...

Hope this helps.

It used to be that when an App was updated it would go to the top of the date list, this doesn't happen anymore, which is a real pain if you want to know if an update is available. There seems to be no rationalle to when the Apps get updated or new ones arrive, I assume they get on there as soon as the creator submits them and since coders have been known to keep very odd hours (I know I have when coding) this could be anytime.

Brand new apps appear in the Just In category almost immediately when the developer submits the app. App updates become live as soon as the developer submits the update too however it will not appear at the top of the Just In category. This is done so that developers don't update their apps every 5 minutes just to have them appear in the Just In list.

there doesn't seem to be a pattern but a hell lot of new apps get into "Just in " category. Sometimes I see 15 apps from same developer thats irritating to see....
