Does this app keep the GPS on all the time? sounds like a great app but i smell battery killer

I installed and used this application in order to have it put my phone at vibe when I was in class (scheduled using google calendar). Worked for a while, then stopped working.

*update* - disabled it and re-enabled it and it works fine!

The 1 star rating above should be removed. 'Locale' can actually turn off and on your GPS and any of the other phone functions. I have mine turn off the GPS, Wifi and the notifications and dim the screen from midnight to 6 AM. Then it kicks it all back on for the start of my day. When I arrive at work things shut down again until near quitting time.

Don't be fooled that this is just a location-based app. You can have it make adjustments to your phone based on battery level, calendar, contact name, location and/or time. It's a VERY versatile app - well worth the space it takes in memory. It's one of the few apps I've downloaded that I'd give 5 stars - and it's only getting better.
