Deleting apps and email (trash)

i just recently got my g1 but i downloaded apps that i dont want and was wondering how do i delete them.

and how do i delete the trash from my email accounts?


pls i need help.

Hi Bite Size Chiq,
To remove unwanted apps (the quick way) is go to the market > downloads > click the app you didn't want, and you will have two options on the bottom, open or remove. Of course click remove... you will be prompted to answer why? with a selection of answers, click one, and then it removes it. The other was is go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > find the app you want to remove (and make sure its an app you downloaded) and click the uninstall button.... you again will be prompted to answer why? click one and it is removed.
As for the email trash - I haven't figured that one out yet. DO NOT clear data through the Applications Manager (This will remove your entire email settings) I have learned this through experience....
