how can i get my text messages to not scroll while in the toolbar? Will I have to disable the whole notification?

what do you mean by "not scroll"? I haven't see this.

what i mean is when the notification pops up that i have a new text message- the little envelope- the actual message will read on the notification bar. I would like to stop this.

a dangerous feature for people playing away. if your partner is able to use G1 then i can see the problem there. not sure of anyway to lock home screen with code. if playing away just use another phone
