If this is your concept, then kudos! I know that within the next few months that they are supposed to be releasing an updated version of te G1, perhaps that will be the G2? From what T-Mobile staff have told me, the next phone is supposed to have the 5MP camera aslisted above...and since the current G1 can run upto a 16GB Micro-SD (there is one...but not in production, was told that SanDisk made one to test the G1 with..would love to see it) and theoretically a 32GB Micro-SD...then the next gen of the phone should truly be astounding. I can't wait to see what it can do...hopefully they will give existing clients and G1 owners some form of incentive to upgrade to the G2 when it arrives.

I hope the upgrade option is available... but more importantly, I hope the G2 is no more than 6 months away. The G1 is too weak of a hardware it won't last a year.

Tell me about it...lol. As much as I love my G1, it does have a lot of room for improvement. As it is, we all should keep in mind that it is a first gen piece of hardware after all.

Yeah you're right it's a first gen phone. So is Android. However, the iPhone was a first gen and it was amazing (not complete, but amazing). I don't think anything close to "amazing" could be used to describe the G1 software or hardware, and that's almost 2 years after the 1st iPhone announcement.

Let's wait and see. With WM7 and Tegra (and Palm OS II, and S60 Touch), there's really no room for error with the G2.
