I like the g2 images and the additional specs. I pray they keep the keyboard...
The only things i would add is a smoother pull out transition, because its a bit harsh. I want them to keep the browser interface particularly the same, it they make it like chrome then i dont want buttons to zoom in.Also upgraded memory internal and external. Also i want to keep the swipping the same/simple, because if you have some crazy animation then it will be difficult to move icons from one screen to another just by dragging. Flash would also be nice for the camera and web browser and video recording capabilities. Upgraded battery live. And also cross platforming. Able to use the g2 interface with the g1 phone. Also multi touch would be nice...

i have a point that might debunk the whole g2 having a new os change. Phone operating systems are like computer os's. they take time to perfect and they dont usually release a whole new os within a certain amount of time. for example notice how long window mobile and me have been around. If anything the next g-phone will have a type of service pack expansion in which customers can download and have there os updated, but not completely redone/revamped....

If T mobile had a phone to look like that, with all the functions of the qwerty flip out keyboard, I would be waiting at the door! They really need to think about style and function. What they have now is bulky. I'm thinking of switching carriers because there phones aren't stylish and functional enough. I love options, style, and great function.
I wish I could download a song on my phone now and make it my ringtone.

I tried to download a theme song from Final Fantasy 7 and use it as my ringtone, but it didn't work. I'm willing to get the android, but if it looks like that bulky white or black pic they have running around on the internet I'll continue to keep my money in my pocket.
I love the i phone, and considering swithching to them. But, I'm trying to give T mobile a chance. The photoshoped G2 android that's being petitioned looks awesome! I would definately buy it if it looked and functioned like it.
All well......

do you have an mp3 of the ff7 song? if you do just use the snippet ringtone app then save it as a ring tone then set it as your ring tone...

I don't know if the HTC Magic will come to T-mobile. Vodafone got the exclusive deal. Something must have gone wrong for HTC to not give T-mobile another Android handset. And current rumors point to T-mobile signing up for Huawei's handset. So my guess is that the next G2 will coming out around the same time the G1 came out last year and it will be this Huawei phone. Which is a bit sketch- @ MWC, there was no working prototype, just a model of it. To go from that to a late release in this year... that makes me worried.

My biggest gripe is the battery life. My laptop gets 2hrs of life with heavy use, so I'd expect a phone to get a lot more.... they shouldn't worry so much about making it super thin, make it the same size or even a bit thicker if it means getting 12hrs of battery life with heavy use and a lot of standby. Alternatively, they could make two different batteries, one thicker for longer use, and one thinner for the dainty ladies out there.

Also, because the battery can run down rather quickly with heavy use; the phone has to be plugged in most of the time, and the power plug is really uncomfortable while typing, I wish they'd redesign the location or something...
