Yes, this device is a prototype but I think this device is never release. This device made only for demonstrate performance Android OS.

hmmm, okay. But maybe someone will release such a device...But it is hard to say if these devices - with full qwertz keyboard - are really suited for writing long texts, because the buttons are mostly pretty small....

Any new information on upcoming Android hardware?

I'm personally still waiting for news about G1 landing to finland, hoping to buy one eventually, although I hate the idea of having to buy SIM-locked bundle.

It's all just speculation at this point as to the next Android handset.

Sprint have recently confirmed they'll be launching an Android powered handset before the end of the year, but there's been no details mentioned.

Hopefully the G1 launch will be a starting point for all these manufacturers and carriers to start making some announcements.

I should be picked up by plenty of companies in 2009, since the android system was designed to work for a variety phone styles.

Yup, it's really early days for Android. I reckon it's gonna take a while for all the other manufacturers to get upto speed.

Just this week there's rumors of Motorola's Android development.

G1 is exciting, but the HTC Diamond is looking even better. Where it not for the fact that we are developing on this platform as a developer we need to play with the latest and greatest as a consumer, wait 6 months for the bugs to get worked out, then dive right in hopefully with a better hardware unit.

Yup, that seems to be the advice from a lot of tech writers who've had their hands on the G1.

Although im not too sure whether i can wait another 6 months.
