Got a HTC Hero and everytime I try and connect to an open wireless access point it connects fine BUT, does not obtain a IP address so obviously cant use it. Tried this on more than one access point and have also tried more that one app to make the connection. Currently using WiFI Scanner to make the connection. Connecting to WAP with a password is fine.
