Hi I just got my new G1 yesterday. I am a little visually impaired due to Diabetic Rentinopathy. I was wondering if tere is some way to increase the font size for email and text messaging? Any help is much apprecuated.

I think, somebody will no doubt confirm with me. But you cant ( im going to say at the moment!!) there is no options for enlarging the fonts!

Yup Charlie is sadly spot on, for the time being it isn't possible to alter the fonts on the Android system.

If it's any consolation the functionality is being worked on and is due to be available in a future update - more info:

And still no one gonna bother to see if there is a way to have bigger size of font? I wanted to buy this phone but I am not sure if it will be good for me.

i am ready to throw this POS against the wall. update download changed my settings and reset bluetooth and wiped out most of phone book. had to re-sync everything and after alll this BS no font size option.
cant get text to voice open what the he77 that is supposed to do. all old apps still in phone showing 0 gb memory dropped big time and phone running slower
