T-mobile G2 unfair?

How is it fair to have a brand new "better" same phone in just a coule months after releasing original? Will G1 owners be able to purchase G2 with discount or even for free? I kno id be upset to see someone with my phone but just better..

i dont think theres gonna be a g2 any time soon. i know some moron fanboy is gonna slam me saying "but look, this is the new g2!" and post like 5 pics of a phone they believe to be the g2, but i say BULLSHIT! theres no way google and TMobile will do that, why? 1st: the g1 is still making money!! 2nd: bad business strategy if they release a g2 now, because since its so soon, they should pace themselves to release new g's every 4 months!! please dont show me pics of what you think is the g2. when tmobile confirms it, then you all can slam me and tell me how much of an a**hole i am for not believing!

The only way they can release a G2 now is to make it very different from the G1, so that it appeals to a different market segment (i.e. not the "oooh shiny gadget" market).

Well what lando says is very true and from any sales from any phone company that comes out with a new phone like let's say the iphone if you bought the iphone edge version then you get a discounted price for the new verion that's just common sence. But there's nothing to worry about the game is to get you to buy more shit from them cause that's biz. wethers its to give you a discouted price or not you going to buy the phone. But no company wants to lose customers especailly tmobile cause they were falling out not upgrading to 3 g so they won't f you over.

thanks for backing me dark cloud. also, look at at&t, they released the iphone and it sold like mad. plans to release the iphone 3g were all over the net and apple fanboys ate it up, but even with all the rumors and all the hype over the iphone 3g, people were still buying the iphone edge. the 3g came out over a year and a half later! please stop speculating about the g2!! ill believe it when i see it!!

the g2 is nothing but photo freaking shop hard core photo shop lol comeon ppl your eyes cant lie to you that bad. now there are other companys coming out with android on it that my look alittle nicer then the g1 but so what hardware is hardware. and has anyone used a touch hd its nothing to piss your self about i have one it doesnt hvbe a hard surface touch screen and the lower keys are not that responsive at all. also the paint chips and wares off bad and its has that soft membrain if you all want that to be your g2 go ahead and get it your all alone there. as for all the other stuff we been talking about be happy there not droping a new g2 yet because this phone cant do everything all these updates are coming out with and its hardware wise. let the g1 ride for alittle while youll see what im talking about you think they havent finshed working on cupecake they have to suger coat it so it doesnt kill the phone

Thats been rumored to be the G2 since that leak came out. Nothing new there.
