Cannot download file not supported on phone, but it is

When I try and download 3gp videos android says cannot download as file not supported.

The thing is, I have downloaded 2 apps that support 3gp now. How can I stop this?

Perhaps try downloading Astro File Manager from the Market. It has an option to force the browser to download any type of file.

If you try downloading Astro and enabling this option under Astro's preferences, be sure and disable the option before trying to download attachments from Gmail. For some reason, those two don't mix.
