Google Navigator is no Garmin, or any other GPS, for that matter. Delete it TODAY!!
Why?

1) It is a complete and total battery drain. On an easy cross state trip in FL last night, Google Navigator completely drained my Droid battery; on a three hour drive? Are you kidding? Only three hours? But worse...

2) It is an unreliable navigator. While it helped me home from CA to Phoenix on Memorial Day weekend (attached to a charger for a ten-hour trip: which I didn't have above--but hey, three hours?), Google Navigator could not accurately guide me to one of the largest building in Southwest Florida--Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, for the Red Sox v. Rays game last night. I have never been to TF, and only to St. Pete once before, 16 years ago. No problem, I think: I have Google Navigator on my Droid.

We stopped for gas with 9 minutes and 3.9 miles to go to our "destination" only to have the Circle K cashier look at me in disbelief when I asked about parking at Tropicana Field. He cautiously informed me that Tropicana Field was about ninety minutes away yet.

Incredulously, I showed him my Droid Google Navigator app, with the three-times checked correct address entered in, and looking at my Google map, he informed me that the final destination shown on my Droid was in the middle of a residential neighborhood. That Tropicana Field was about fifty miles away, and he knows this because he used to work there.

Since I have never been to Trop Field, and only once to St. Pete, I hadn't connected that I hadn't crossed TAMPA BAY yet, and so couldn't have possibly been near the Red Sox v. Rays game, nor in my seats for the first pitch.

Again, I checked the address: absolutely correct. Yet I am not even in the right COUNTY, let alone near the parking lots of Tropicana Field. I was at exit 260 on I-75 North, thinking I was ten minutes from the game. Not even close.

How could Google Navigator get such a huge landmark, sports venue, etc., etc. SO WRONG!? Not even hand grenade close! Over fifty miles off!! Hey, no thanks. I'll stick to my garmin.

Someone please tell me how can I delete Google Navigator from my Droid?

Unfortunately it is a build in app and cannot be taken off your device (Unless your rooted and remove it.)

Google navigator uses Google maps. Have you tried putting the information into Google maps on a computer and see what it does? GPS can be frustrating even my Tom Tom is never perfect. Sorry to hear about your experience.

Once again, I entered the correct information, including Tropicana Field, and from traveling West on I-4 it still guides me to: (I'm just reading it as is from my Droid)

Take I-75 North/Ocala, to exit 270 for County Rd 581/Bruce B Downs Blvd. continue for 0.3 mi;

Keep right at the fork to continue forward Bruce B Downs Blvd/Co Rd 581, continue for 2.7 mi;

Turn right at Regents Park Dr, continue for 0.9 mi;

Turn left at Fox Hearst Rd. continue for 0.5 mi;

Turn right at Cypress Pond Ave, continue for 0.1 mi: Tropicana Filed, 1 Tropicana Drive, St. Petersburg, FL

At this point, I'm not even in the right county, but have the EXACT address entered in my Droid.

Here it is a the next day, and it's still giving me the incorrect address. How is this POSSIBLE? I am absolutely amazed.

You shouldn't run GPS without plugging your phone into a car adapter.

I have a real GPS unit that "can" run on batteries and will last maybe 1.5 hours without it being plugged in.

You really can't blame Google Navigator for that.
