Need Sophisticated Memo App with Label Functions

Is there a sophisticated memo application for the Droid platform? I would like a memo app similar to the Palm memo function; I need the ability to store memos under different labels/categories. For example, all work memos would be stored under the title "Work" etc.

I've tried using GDocs and syncing with Google documents, but there is no ability to store memos under various categories. In addition, the titles I create in GDoc memos do not carry over completely to Google Documents. So if I create a memo titled "New York 4/21/10. I get a document titled "10" when I sync to Google Documents.

I bought a Moto Backflip assuming there was an advanced memo function--I was wrong. I really need this function and if there is none available, I will probably move to a new platform. I find it hard to believe this function was completely overlooked by Google.

I may have a solution with evernote.com. It isn't quite what I wanted, but I think it will work. But I really wish Google, would just add a nice memo feature.
