Is it possible to set up a generic Andriod phone (Ebay or whatever...) and reset the functions to do the following:
1. Gain FREE WiFi access to the net without a data provider or plan. (just like a laptop)
2. Find an exceptional WiFi Voip telephone plan to get an online phone number to make and
receive calls and voicemail.
In other words, I want to use the Android as a handheld computer rather than a data phone and get my phone service over the net for $5 a month rather than from a data provider for $100 a month. Seems like a more logical way to use an Android phone. Thanks!
