Hello Android community! First time viewer, first time poster...Pre-ordered the Droid today at Best Buy, can't wait for Friday. Finally getting rid of this shitty at&t bs I've been dealing with for the last 2 years.

Anyways, I too am dying for FLAC support, are there any updates on this topic for the platform?

I just searched for the player that plays both flac, ape, mp3, aac...(i haven't checked if it plays other formats but I wouldn't be surprised if it did)...it's andLess...here's a link to download:

apparently, meridian music player claims support for flac/ape as well ... and seems to have favorable opinions in various arenas ...

it does claim, but the current version 0.16.0 fails to display FLAC files stored on my SD card (HTC Desire). is there any working solution out there?

EDIT: nevermind, andLess does the job

I just put some flac files on my htc desire and was shocked it wouldnt play them...my old phone (sony eric k800i) had no problem playing them. What a shame for a state of the art phone. Anyways if you type in "Flac" on the android market there is an app that will play them...problem sorted in 5 min, thank god for the market p.s its called "andLess"
