Is there a way on the Eris to monitor application usage? I want to see what apps are running and taking up X% of system; similar to windows task manager. Is this in the menu somewhere or do I need a separate application?

I installed "Advanced Task Killer", but what you're describing is done on Android 2.0 through the "settings" app, and works very well.
