E-Mail Questions

I just got the Droid Eris yesterday and have a couple of questions about e-mail.

1. Is there a way to set push exchange e-mail to only sync with the Inbox? When I enable push it wants to download mail from all of my folders. Too many messages.

2. Is there a way to have the e-mail client return to the message list after a delete instead of show the next message?

I was sick of toying with it, so I just downloaded touchdown exchange.
Cost alot, but well worth the money.
