Hi,

I am a newbie in what concerns android OS, I previously owned a HTC 4350 with Windows Mobile and I just bought a HTC Hero.

I would like to know if there is an Android app with maps to use GPS when I can't access the Internet. Can somebody help me?

Thank you,

Nesita

Copilot is supposed to be able to do that.

Thecounty is correct. The reason it works with co-pilot is that the maps are stored on the SD card. That is the important bit. If the app doesn't store the maps locally then it will always rely on some form of internet access to download them on the fly.

I highly recommend co-pilot. Have used it for years.

Hi guys,

I downloaded co-pilot and installed it. It's working just fine, thanks for the hint! Couldn't be more simple!

It was really great!

Use TripComputer. It is off-road personal navigator for hikers and bikers. No internet connection required, but if you have one, you can send and search for waypoints.
