Do any of the music applications use it?

What is it you're looking for (don't say "an app that uses bluetooth")?

I mean, you mention music, are you wanting to use bluetooth headset? If so, the phone can connect natively regardless of which music app you use.

I have a G1 and a jawbone earwear, they can connect and work well with the phone application on the G1.

I want to know if any applications such as acast, music or shoutcast{online radio} can be heard over the jawbone earwear...ie can any music application utilize bluetooth technology so we can hear audio wirelessly.

memory serving the jawbone is just a single ear, mono earpiece designed for handsfree phone calls.

AFAIK it does not support A2DP which is required for listening to music. You would need a specific A2DP headset such as the Sony Ericsson DS970 (newer versions are available but it's cheap because it's old and has been tested to work).

Google Stereo Bluetooth Headset for a complete list. Not all are compatible though so I recommend testing in a shop before buying.

You can then use the headset to listen to music and vids etc.

To summarise, it's not the apps that control what you want, it's the choice of headset. It doesn't matter what the app is, if you don't have the right headset then it won't work how you need it to. And the Jawbone (I don't believe) is the right type.
