After the call - a pet peeve

I find this particularly annoying, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to make it stop.

Basically, after I make a call, my phone (I imagine everyone's) brings me to the call log. Why??? I know who I just called! Why wouldn't it return me to my address book (most logical) or even the home screen. I have a few anyclip numbers on my home screen that I use, but I always have to fiddle with going back or hitting the home button (which means the next time I hit the address book it's going to go to the call log).

This is the only phone I have ever had that did this. Most just bring back to the home screen - whatever that is.

Anyone know any ways or apps that might get around this?
