Plan route on computer, view it on the Android

Hi,

I bought the phone mainly for the mapping functions. I'd like to use them for when I go out on long bike rides.

For obvious reasons I don't always want to use the fastest or shortest route somewhere. Hence I would like to plan the route in Google Maps, bikely or GMaps Pedometer and then import them into the phone.

Is that possible?

I found out that bikely can export into the GPX format. Is it possible to open GPX files with an android app?
