Hi,
I have just imported all my contacts into my google contacts from a CSV file and used the Section 1 - Email, Section 2 - Email etc. format.
All the contacts have added to my google contacts fine, and I can see all the details on my phone, however when using the messaging apps (tried both native android app and chompSMS) the apps do not seem to be able to pull the mobile numbers out of the contacts.
If I go into the Contact through the Contacts app, I can choose to send an sms to the number with no problems.
Does anybody have any ideas as to what might be the problem? I wondered if it was anything to do with the labels on the numbers as using the different sections in my csv file has added labels such as "home / Mobile" and "work / Mobile" as opposed to just "Mobile" which is what they are labelled if you add them through the Google Contacts web app.
