Ear - easy ringtone profiles

Hi Android community,

We developed a nice application:

The Android mobile phone application ear allows users to create environment-aware settings profiles.
Version 0.1 (Beta) enables users to:

- create ringtone and notifications profiles
- view the active profile in the taskbar, and
- easily switch between profiles

Future versions will include location-awareness both outdoor and indoor. Knowing a user's geographic location, ear automatically switches the ringtone profile. Other information, such as time and caller, can also be used to define profile activation rules. E.g. ear automatically turns the mobile phone to silent mode as soon as the user walks into a pre-defined "silent area", such as a library building or conference room.

Interesting.. But for what use could I have for this?

scenarios might be:
* you want to use a different profile when you are outside a building than inside a building (b/c outside it is loud, you need a higher ringtone volume)
* you want your mobile phone to be silent when you are in a library, with a customer or in a conference room

Right now you can define such profiles and switch them manually. We are working on intelligent profile switching mechanisms, so you don't even have to switch manually any more: environment-aware settings profiles.
