Update for Cupcake

I know I am going to seem like an idiot for asking this but I've been looking around and haven't been able to figure out where you download the update for the Cupcake application. So my question is, where do you get the update?

updates like the cupcake one are not downloaded. that are delivered over the air (ota), meaning that you dont have to do anything but wait till it comes and hit accept to update the phone.

OP, I think you are slightly confused.
Cupcake is not an application per-say, its just a development branch of Google Android who seem to be working on the coolest tweaks & changes. Thers a lot of speculation about wether there will even be a "cupcake update" or wether they will roll out all the new features created by the cupcake developers as a series of smaller, incremental OTA updates.

We'll just have to wait & see.

I'm not talking about the update for the phone. If you go up on the Android Market there is an application named cupcake that is available. Its a forum for the G1 but every time I open it, its says to update it and I have no idea on how to do that.
