Hey all,
I've been looking for a way to make notes and sync them the way I used to do with my blackberry and outlook. I can't see anything in gmail or igoogle that will do this sort of thing. Am I missing something? Or perhaps there is an app that will let you sync up notes some how.

I usually have some long notes, lists, instructions etc that I keep on my phone and it's a lot faster if I can type them in from a real keyboard or paste them from a website and sync. I've thought about emailing them to myself but since you can't select, copy and paste in the G1 that doesn't work either.

you did not say how to get the notes into Google Docs. I also need to sync my Outlook notes with my Droid. Companion link puts them into contacts which to me is unacceptable

well, if you have a gmail account (a very important item for all android users) you can email doc's, as attachments to an email, to yourself at that gmail account. When you open your gmail account (use your computer) and read those emails, gmail will offer to open those attatched doc's as google doc's. That'd be one way to move any notes into your google documents. It's been quite a while since I used outlook, so I don't remember much about how it does notes and handles them, so that's the best I can tell you.

The GDocs app is buggy and the dev is no longer focusing time to fixing it.
