Is it possible to remove an installed application from the applications menu? I wanna keep the application installed on my phone but not show in the menu... can anyone help me out?

The phone is a tmobile g1 incase if that makes any difference

Unless you have root on your phone you wont be able to do that, just imagine the confusion that would ensue if people started removing app shortcuts from the menu, no one would be able to find their apps and utter chaos would hover over the G1 community like a cloud of angry wasps. The only way to get them back would be to use anycut to put them on the desktop.

Personally I think removing apps from the menu is a bad idea, however you are going to come up with a valid reason why you want them removed to prove my doubt arent you?

may b the way to go would b 2 create a folder and put the apps u dont use all the time there. that would free up space,

Except that it doesn't. Creating a folder and putting shortcuts in it merely creates duplicates organized differently, the shortcuts still appear in the drawer on the home screen.
