Hi,

It's normal that you can't open emulator with the 1.5 version of the SDK. ^^ (I don't know how correct it)

To create a new project with Eclipse:

Window-->Preferences-->Android

Indicate the path of the Android SDK in the "SDK Location" box.

Three target names will appear in the box below:

"Android 1.1"
"Android 1.5"
"Google APIs"

Click on "Apply" and "Ok"

Now create a new projet and this time, it should be ok ;-)

I hope I helped you,

Revan

Wow, I am incredibly excited about the Android platform! Android might resurrect the old 2D game world, like back when one person could produce a game entirely on their own. I am having the same problem with the New Android Project Wizard though ("An SDK Target must be specified.") No Build targets show up in the panel "Build Target" despite going to Window->Preferences and pointing to sdk dir and being able to see the list of targets there. Oohh, I really, really want this to work! I am running Vista and the latest version of eclipse.

DimitriLozovoy - I'm getting the same problem. I started digging into it last night, but haven't had a chance to figure it out yet. I would be interested if someone could let me know where to goo also. I am also running Vista.

I had to go to Windows->Android SDK and AVD Manager. From there I clicked on Installed Packages and then Update All...

After that was completed I had Build Target's available.

I got it! I deleted the android sdk and eclipse dirs and reinstalled everything on a different drive to be completely safe and now as long as all fields in the wizard are filled in, it works! Try starting from scratch!

Also make sure you download all available targets/components in the plugin's installer.

Hi dpowers,

I tried the steps you suggested. I had selected "Android SDK Platform 2.0.1" only for installation. I tried many times but each times ends with error like "x bytes expected but only y bytes received". Is there other way to install sdk?

Thanks in advance.
