No official word as of yet (Only a couple of days until we know for sure), but i'd be surprised if an acceloremeter wasn't built-in to the device.
I initially thought it was pretty much guaranteed - given the Google's Street View mapping feature that's been shown.
But on closer inspection is seems that was achieved by the Dreams/G1 built-in compass.
