Hey guys...

I installed the Windows-USB Driver (adb) for my G1 and so I can transfer data on it without probz... BUT

when I activate "USB debugging" Windows wants me to install drivers (I already did? oO) and when I select the right driver it finished with a fatal error...

but as far as I know there are only one USB Driver.
And when I want my self-developed Applications to transfer, I have to turn "USB Debugging" on....

so what the hell can I do? =(

btw: thx in advance!!!111

I don't know if this is what you need but I posted it a few days ago. I haven't used this but according to the response the guy who wrote it did a good job.

Here's the link to the original post in this forum. I notice I'm following your posts around on anddev.org too :-)

Do not feel stupid, or disregard this solution. After days (DAYS) of forum hunting and tmobile support head aches I have found the stupidest of solutions. If you have tried...debugging, drivers, ect. you should check one small thing. Use a differant data cable. I assumed it was fine because the phone would still charge and everything but it would not do the data connection. I grabbed and older BIGGER cable and (BING BANG BOOM) I have a connection.

Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty I am free at last.

I'm stil unable to get my USB driver to work on my GM dstl1. I am using XP conecting through a usb 1.0 cable. My computer doesn't ask for a driver when I connect to the phone and have tried to do it manually with little success? Could someone help in 1- telling me how to connect manually incase I'm doing it wrong and 2- give me a nother solution to my problem?
In explorer a mass storage device is recognized, but when I click on it I'm told to insert a disc
